9 o'clock and all is well

I've been quiet lately, I know. What can I say- I haven't had a whole lot to say, but then when I do think of something, I'm also in the middle of 5 other things at the same time. I was going to post about the Blu-Ray/HD-DVD format war, but Toshiba made that easy for me when they killed the HD-DVD format. I'm glad I didn't, too, because I thought HD-DVD would make it. Now I don't look quite so much of an ass. :)
I'm a little tired right now, but the mood is striking and thought I'd post a little 'catch-up' here. Why do I hear the Doogie Howser theme in my head?
We've been running around a lot lately, whether it's to Michigan, Milwaukee, the south 'burbs, or to Ohio. Next week, it's Florida. It's great seeing everyone, and while in Ohio I even managed to make a few bucks (Scott, where's my money?!) That aside, it was fun working with Scott.
On the home front, a few small but notable accomplishments: I finally installed an outlet under the sink, so the garbage disposal is no longer powered by an extension cord. Also, on the topic of ((finally)), I planted the flowers my wife bought a year ago, and I think I (again, finally) took care of the odor the dog was so kind to leave behind after puking on the couch and sleeping in it.
My cactus, the one I started this blog with, has begun to bloom again. That's twice in under half a year, after the ~3 that it just lived without doing much. Guess the bathroom wasn't such a good place for it after all. I left the light on for it!
With all of this, it's left me a little worn out. A good worn out, but worn out nonetheless, which explains the uneven flow of my typing. So for now, I'm going to enjoy a little tea (for some reason, a cup of tea just sounded good right now), finish this up, and go cozy up into bed.
Before I go, though, there's a new link to your right- it's the site of a guy I met while in germany, who lives in Russia- Moscow, in particular. He's a really cool guy. I learned of his site this morning, and burnt up probably a good hour clicking through the pages. I encourage you to give the site a look- it's in Russian, but it's not too hard to navigate. He's got a page of pictures, and his blog has pictures and drawings which are all of great quality. Here's some hints- the links are not at the very top of the page (those are for his hosting company), but just underneath those: Дневник: (737) is the blog, Фотоальбом: (631) is the pics. (numbers are subject to change)
